In 2024, CELA became a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact. This is a voluntary initiative by the UN that relies on commitments made by the CEOs of participating companies to implement universal sustainability principles and take actions that support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With over 18,000 signatory companies worldwide and present in 164 countries, the Brazilian Network of the Global Compact has over 1,900 participants, making it the second largest local network in the world.
